Enjoy!</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a monument to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Atkinson_Jones">William Atkinson Jones</a> in Warsaw, VA, the great congressman from the First District who sponsored the Philippine Autonomy Act:<a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-5.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5211" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-5.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 5" /></a></p>
<p><!--more-->The following three are of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vauter%27s_Church">Vauter&#8217;s Church</a> (and the photo at the top is of the pulpit and altar inside).</p>
<p><a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-4.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5210" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-4.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 4" /></a> <a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5207" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-1.jpg?w=1024&#038;h=768" alt="photo 1" /></a> <a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-3.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5209" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-3.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 3" /></a></p>
<p>The hand stamps at <a href="http://www.virginia.org/Listings/Events/LancasterCourtDayAColonialLivingHistoryCelebration/">Lancaster County Court Days</a> were pretty awesome:</p>
<p><a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-12.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5217" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-12.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 1" /></a></p>
<p><a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-22.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5218" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-22.jpg?w=1024&#038;h=768" alt="photo 2" /></a> <a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-32.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5219" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-32.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 3" /></a> <a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-42.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5220" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-42.jpg?w=1024&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 4" /></a></p>
<p>Next was <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_Church_%28Lancaster_County,_Virginia%29">Christ Church Lancaster County</a>, a truly remarkable, beautiful building built by Robert (King) Carter and completed in 1735:</p>
<p><a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-41.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5215" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-41.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 4" /></a></p>
<p>Note the three-tiered pulpit; clerk&#8217;s desk, then a lectern for Bible reading, and a roost for the preacher at the top:</p>
<p><a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-31.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5214" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-31.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 3" /></a> <a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-21.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5213" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-21.jpg?w=768&#038;h=1024" alt="photo 2" /></a> <a href="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-11.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-large wp-image-5212" src="https://themitrailleuse.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/photo-11.jpg?w=1024&#038;h=768" alt="photo 1" /></a></p>
<p>Lastly, a well deserved stop at Tides Inn. Here&#8217;s a picture of their delicious poke:</p>
