It&#8217;s an interesting question.  Any such prize would be amazingly controversial, but let&#8217;s shelve that and ask: who are the best climate scientists, the ones who have made truly dramatic progress?  </p>
<p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Svante_Arrhenius#Greenhouse_effect">Arrhenius</a> is no longer with us, so he&#8217;s out.</p>
