So far, I've spent half the first month's NYC rent in DC. I came down for a doctor's appointment ten days ago and have been bed-blogging with bronchitis since. Today is the first day I didn't awake coughing up various shades of black, gray and green. I've learned through decades of asthma that once my lungs go down, the only thing that helps is sleep, bed rest, asthma meds and antibiotics. It usually takes ten days.

So I'm loving my first month of paying NYC rent while living in my old, beloved loft in Adams Morgan. But I hope to make it back to the big shitty tomorrow. I miss my family.
