It was not about the Employment Non-Discrimination Act; it was about an executive decision not to discriminate in federal government contracts on the grounds of sexual orientation. Obama hasn&#8217;t signed it. But, unlike ENDA, it is a legitimate issue which the executive can deal with, and so the protest was completely legit, if a little misdirected.
