<p>Andrew Webster <a href="http://www.theverge.com/2013/7/5/4495450/joe-jams-the-sweet-sounds-of-your-morning-coffee">describes</a> the short video seen above:</p>
<blockquote><p>There are many small pleasures that come with making a cup of coffee, from the warm mug in your hands to that first sip. But one thing you might not think about is the sound. Thankfully, composer and sound designer <a href="http://www.diegostocco.com/">Diego Stocco</a> — who has worked on the most recent <em>Sherlock Holmes</em> films as well as games in the <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed</em> series — decided to make a video that highlights this oft-forgotten aspect of coffee making. Using some custom built waterproof microphones, along with other gear, he was able to capture everything from the shake of a sugar packet to the pouring of the brew itself — and the results sound surprisingly epic.</p></blockquote>
