I was optimistic, given some Republican opposition to the idea; one of our Indiana readers wasn&#8217;t. Today, the inability of the state House and Senate to agree on the wording of the measure means it <a href="http://www.indystar.com/story/news/politics/2014/02/13/hjr-3-last-minute-maneuver-could-spare-2nd-sentence-/5455299/" target="_blank">will be shelved</a> for the foreseeable future. Another day, another win.</p>
