<![CDATA[Apple Releases iPhone Software 2.2.1]]>
Tuesday afternoon, Apple releases iPhone Software 2.2.1 with bug fixes and improvements including:
- Improves the general stability of Safari.
- Fixes an issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll.
This update is available for both iPhone and iPhone 3G.
- iPhone Software 2.2.1: iPhone1,1_2.2.1_5H11_Restore.ipsw 245.7MB
- iPhone 3G Software 2.2.1: iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore.ipsw 246.4MB
By convention, iPod touch Software 2.2.1 should also be released today. I don’t have any iPod touch with me as of this moment.
