It has to do with books.</p>
<p>Old books, in fact. Old, cheesy books. Old, moldy, cheesy books that no one wants, found in a dustbin at the the thrift store.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m trying to justify my actions here.</p>
<p>I found an old RD Condensed Edition book in a &#8220;free&#8221; bin, and my mind reeled. Who would just <em>throw away</em> a book?? It&#8217;s a BOOK!! You don&#8217;t just&#8230;. discard a book. You revere it, treasure it, pass it on to someone so that they can gather knowledge.</p>
<p>But this is a &#8220;condensed edition&#8221; book. Like the Cliff Notes™ of Society.</p>
<p><a href="https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png"><img data-attachment-id="2972" data-permalink="https://aggiesprite.wordpress.com/2013/02/16/sacrilegious-awesomeness/rd-book/" data-orig-file="https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png" data-orig-size="456,553" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="rd book" data-image-description="" data-medium-file="https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png?w=247" data-large-file="https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png?w=456" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2972" alt="rd book" src="https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png?w=456&#038;h=553" width="456" height="553" srcset="https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png 456w, https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png?w=124&amp;h=150 124w, https://aggiesprite.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/rd-book.png?w=247&amp;h=300 247w" sizes="(max-width: 456px) 100vw, 456px" /></a></p>
<p>Anyway, I saw <a href="http://www.moredesignplease.com/moredesignplease/2011/5/31/book-mobile.html">this</a> and decided to try my hand at making one. Never would I have thought of doing it, save for the fact that it&#8217;s a condensed book from 1953 that no one wanted. Besides, I read it already. All four condensed books, of which I had never heard. So, I will mess around with it, and post my DIY instructions once I figure out all the bugs.</p>
<p>Hopefully there will be no bookworms 😉</p>
