<![CDATA[Exercise #1: 2D Design Elements & Key Colors]]>In this exercise, the student is required to compose a design that focuses on the 2D design elements as well as using the acrylic gouache in order to create low, mid and high color keys.

The nine design elements being dot, line, plane, volume, shape, space,  texture, value, and color.

As for the high, mid, and low keys, we’ve created a range of values to demonstrate this.img_0302

These color keys were also demonstrated by replicating a design and using the acrylic to portray these range of keys.
