Two members of the ANICT Direction, Miguel Jorge and João Lopes, were selected to take part in the Voice of the Researchers initiative (http://voice.euraxess.org/), organized by the European Commission. The aim is to create a European level network that can communicate the main problems and concerns of researchers to stakeholders and policy makers, as well as propose concrete measures to improve research in Europe.
Further actions are planned already for 2012, including the preparation of a white paper on research in Europe, as well as a conference in 2013.
