Went to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, a massive shopping centre. Its biggest food court is called Food Republic.

Met up with one of the best friends, Stephanie Koo. Met her in Chinese school 12 years ago. She’s also an Australian-born Malaysian.

Since she’s bad at organizing her time, she came late and combined her two appointments for the day, her friend from high school, Binky.

Went to a vegetarian stall in the food court. I got super excited and  couldn’t decide what to have for dinner, so I bought two dishes.

I go insane for curry, curry noodles being one particular fancy. This had vegetarian char sieu (bbq pork), fishcake, shredded fried tofu puffs, bean sprouts, eggplant and long green beans.

Vegetarian Bak Kut Teh. I was super excited for this one because you usually can’t get vego Bak Kut Teh.

This one came with vego mutton, meat balls, beancurd skin and shiitake mushrooms.

Uncle Chiu’s Beef Noodle.

Ma’s Yong Tau Foo Chee Cheong Fun, meat-stuffed vegetables with a ground bean paste sauce, mixed with sugar, water and cornstarch.
