Rebecca and Oisin (members of our green School Committee) and Valerie Egan (Parent’s Council Chairperson) present Karen Coan  with €300 for our local park.Mia and Fionn present  Mrs. Joan Dennedy with €150 for our own school  garden. These presentations were made from the collection of the now defunct 1c and 2c coins before Christmas.

Thank you to Valerie and her team for their help.We are delighted to support  our local park which is a wonderful facility in our community. We are applying for our green Flag on Biodiversity and are delighted to receive any help and support for our garden.

We will be setting up an Eco tribe in conjunction with help from our local Tidy Town committee who are always ready and willing with advice and support. Our Eco tribe will help plant a Medieval Garden in the park. Hopefully all we learn there will be transferred into our own garden in due course.
