The <a href="http://wiki.scienceblogging.com/scienceblogging/" target="_blank" title="">wiki</a> is looking good, the <a href="http://wiki.scienceblogging.com/scienceblogging/show/Conference+Program+08" target="_blank" title="">Program</a> is shaping up nicely, and there is more and more <a href="http://wiki.scienceblogging.com/scienceblogging/show/Blog+and+Media+Coverage" target="_blank" title="">blog and media coverage</a> already. There are already <a href="http://mistersugar.wufoo.com/reports/science-blogging-08/" target="_blank" title="">many registered participants</a> and if you do not <a href="http://wiki.scienceblogging.com/scienceblogging/show/Register" target="_blank" title="">register</a> soon, it may be too late once you decide to do so (we&#8217;ll cap at about 230). Here are some of the people who will be there, for you to meet in person if you register in time.<br />
<img class="inset right" alt="Zuska%27s%20headshot.jpg" src="https://i0.wp.com/scienceblogs.com/clock/Zuska%27s%20headshot.jpg" width="151" height="202" />My Scibling and dear friend, Suzanne Franks, aka <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/thusspakezuska/" target="_blank" title="">Zuska</a> describes herself as&#8230;well, go and <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/thusspakezuska/about.php" target="_blank" title="">read how she describes herself</a>. If you write something sexist, Super-Zuska will put her cape on, fly to wherever in the world you are, and puke on your shoes. And if you donate to schools through Zuska&#8217;s Challenge on DonorsChoose, you will be eligible to <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/thusspakezuska/2007/10/how_can_i_bribe_you_to_contrib.php" target="_blank" title="">win the Grand Prize</a>: a t-shirt emblazoned with the unforgettable words: &#8220;Zuska says: Don&#8217;t make me puke on your shoes.&#8221;</p>
<p>
<img class="inset left" alt="Karen%27s%20headshot.JPG" src="https://i0.wp.com/scienceblogs.com/clock/Karen%27s%20headshot.JPG" width="125" height="170" /><a href="http://scienceblogs.com/sciencetolife/" target="_blank" title="">Karen Ventii</a>, besides being a SciBling, is a Ph.D. student of biochemistry at Emory University in Atlanta GA and is looking for a career in science journalism or writing. Karen and Zuska will co-moderate a session on <a href="http://wiki.scienceblogging.com/scienceblogging/show/Gender+and+Race+in+Science" target="_blank" title="">Gender and Race in science: online and offline</a>. You can already start asking questions (by editing that wiki page).</p>
