September 2015:
The team were delighted to be able to make a very special person, Mr. Daragh Braithwaite’s dream come true by helping him become a VIP for a day recently. Such an inspiration he is. He was accompanied by his No.1 fans, his family. His day included having his own personal security detail to transport him in style to Athlone town stadium where he was Athlone Town FC official mascot, they played their hearts out for him and they beat Shelbourne FC 2:1. Many thanks to Colm Quinn, McGorisks Chemist, Seans Bar, David Dully, Athlone Town FC support staff and players, Hudson Bay Hotel, Darren and Michelle of Tuam Garda Traffic Corps, who really made it a special, special event

We are super delighted to announce (drum roll please) that our tandem skydive this year is in aid of for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin and will take place on July 4th and 5th in Abbeyshrule Co. Longford with our great pals at Tandem Skydive.ie
As a result of Blue Skies Trust Tandem Skydive with tandem skydive.ie. Aoibheanns Pink Tie and Laura Lynn will be receiving €4275.95…..EACH!!!!! We are so proud of everyone who skydived with us this year. A very happy Christmas to you all, you are amazing.
We are extremely excited to announce that we will be back in the air on the 19th Oct 2104, once again fair play to all the guys at tandem skydive.ie for getting us back jumping so soon
We would like to congratulate all of our young skydivers who have skydived with us over the last three years and recently sat the leaving cert and now embark on their various journeys.

We’ve been talking to the lads at Tandem Skydive in Abbeyshrule. Good news, they hope to have us up in the sky by late September or early October
As you all probably know by now our day in Abbeyshrule was postponed to another date due to the aircraft having to make an emergency landing. The Blue Skies Team would like to acknowledge the skill of the pilot in dealing with this situation. We would also like to complement the tandem masters, skydivers and support teams on how they responded to the incident. We would like to thank everyone for their co operation on the day. For those who did not get to skydive we will notify you when a new date has been arranged. For those who did skydive, we hope you now share our love of the blue sky. We would like to thank you for helping us to fund raise for our two chosen charities, and hope you continue to be members of the Blue Skies Team for a long time to come
