<p>Of course, the punchline here is that just as the Longhorns pulled the string on the hire, the <a href="http://www.ncaa.org/wps/wcm/connect/public/ncaa/resources/latest+news/2013/march/rules+working+group+recommends+board+suspend+recruiting-related+proposals" target="_blank">NCAA&#8217;s Rules Working Group</a> announced it&#8217;s prepared to backtrack on the new guideline allowing recruiting coordinating to be done by non-coaching personnel.</p>
