For the last month, the longtime flagship station for UGA Athletics has been replaying radio broadcasts of the Bulldogs’ games on Saturday afternoons. That will continue today as the WSB reaches into its vintage files and recast a classic called by the late, great Larry Munson — the 1987 Georgia Tech game in Atlanta.

Spoiler alert: Georgia wins 30-16 in what was coach Vince Dooley’s last game at Grant Field. But nothing can bring the details back to life like the gravelly-voiced Munson on the microphone…

The games have been edited down to fit in a neat 2½-hour window and air from 3:05 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on 95.5 FM, AM-750, wsbradio.com, the WSB Radio App and your smart speaker.

I can think of worse ways to spend 150 minutes.
