<p><strong>UPDATE: </strong> You know, I had to go back and look.  Here&#8217;s how Georgia&#8217;s offense has fared on third down every time it&#8217;s faced a Grantham-coordinated defense since he left Athens:</p>
<ul>
<li>2019:  12-18</li>
<li>2018:  8-14</li>
<li>2017:  5-11</li>
<li>2014:  12-18</li>
</ul>
<p>Collectively, that&#8217;s 37-61, good for a 60.7% conversion rate.  That rate would have led the nation in any of those seasons.  Newman and Monken have some big shoes to fill, but I have faith.  In Grantham, that is.</p>
