Sporting News has Jamie Newman No. 10 QB in nation, Kyle Trask No. 14. What am I missing?

Newman (in ACC):

220-361 (60.9%) for 2,868 yards, 26 TD, 11 INT
180 runs for 574 yards, 6 TD

Trask (in SEC):

237-354 (66.9%) for 2,941 yards, 25 TD, 7 INT
63 runs for 8 yards, 4 TD

UPDATE: You know, I had to go back and look. Here’s how Georgia’s offense has fared on third down every time it’s faced a Grantham-coordinated defense since he left Athens:

2019: 12-18
2018: 8-14
2017: 5-11
2014: 12-18

Collectively, that’s 37-61, good for a 60.7% conversion rate. That rate would have led the nation in any of those seasons. Newman and Monken have some big shoes to fill, but I have faith. In Grantham, that is.
