Brilliant blues album from one of the best: Eric Clapton. The arrangments here are crisp and tight. The band is in top form, and the DVD is simply a treat to watch. The CD is great by itself but some of the acoustic numbers on the DVD just soar. Clapton by himself in a hotel room with an acoustic is just unbelievable to watch, a true master at work. Robert Johnson would be proud to hear his songs done so well and with such pristine respect for their intergrity.
