There is not a lot to brag about myself, but to start things off my name is Darrah Walker. This is my first year at Butler, and my first year working on a newspaper.

I was born in Wichita, but was raised in Littleton, Colorado, for 13 years. When I moved here in 2014, I started a new school mid-spring at Derby High School. Coming from Derby, I have years of photography experience and some experience with the yearbook. My focus is to add great photos to the Butler Lantern because I believe part of a story can be told through a photo. I am great at giving my opinion to anyone that asks for it and will get straight to the point.

I am excited to be a part of the Butler Lantern for the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018, and I am also excited to show the members of this publication what I can do.
