Hello, my fellow Grizzlies. As most of you do not know, my name is Marcus Smith. I am new to the Butler Lantern staff this year, and I am excited to see what I can accomplish while here.

I have a big family with five sisters, one brother and one half brother and I love them all very much–besides my little brother. As if my family is not already big enough, we also have two dogs, which I like more than any of my siblings. Most of my free time I am watching Netflix or sitting on my phone scrolling through Twitter. I am a very outgoing person, so I don’t like spending too much of my time watching Netflix or being on Twitter.

I come from a small town, so adjusting from my small town life to life in college can be difficult sometimes. I hope to adjust well to my new surroundings, and I hope the same for all of you.
