Guest Poet

Dear Love,

Here’s another letter you’ll never read
I love you
I’m pretty sure you know that to be true
I try as hard as hard as I can to make it known
Which is something you don’t do
But it’s okay cause I know you don’t feel like you can
With your parents and all that
Just know I understand
I wish we were more than what we are
Cause as we are we are becoming as distant as the stars
You’re that voice in the sky I can’t quite see clear
But other people around me say that voice holds me dear
And the pixels of sand are so easily broken
I just wish your feelings would not go unspoken
As I lie in my bed my heart feels like lead
And every word that you’ve said plays on repeat in my head
You once said you like me
That was before the summer
I haven’t seen you in 3 weeks
What an endless bummer
