When the best available evidence was that he muffed his line on the moon, dropping the &#8220;a&#8221;, he accepted that he may have screwed up. But now it seems that (as I suspected all along) the &#8220;a&#8221; was <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/5398560.stm">just obscured by static</a>. Says Armstrong:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I have reviewed the data and Peter Ford&#8217;s analysis of it, and I find the technology interesting and useful,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>&#8220;I also find his conclusion persuasive. Persuasive is the appropriate word.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
