<p>Why, if the &#8220;surge&#8221; is working, are casualties up? Because our soldiers are <a href="http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/06/why_the_surge_is_working_yet_m.html">closer to the bad guys</a>. Is building a border fence &#8220;too expensive&#8221;? Not if you compare it to, say <a href="http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/06/the_myth_of_expensive_border_f_1.html">Katrina relief</a>. And do the figures in polls mean anything? Rarely, especially if <a href="http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/06/lies_damned_lies_and_cairs_sta.html">CAIR is behind them</a>.</p>
