<![CDATA[George Clooney and Me]]>Whodathunkit? I’m actually on George Clooney’s side – regarding one thing. He had a little tantrum when WGA arbitration went against him and decided to go fi-core. I’m not supporting the tantrum, but George “Blind Squirrel” Clooney did what I wish every union member would do.
The unions hate “financial core” members, even though they lie through their teeth about how much money is spent on politics and collect an absurd amount of money from them. They hate fi-core because, if everybody did it, the union would cease to exist.
And wouldn’t that be lovely?
