The DSHEA, the deadly child of a couple of lame-brained Senators, may be getting a <a href="http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/?p=3772" target="_blank">much-needed patch</a> thanks to another Senator not normally known for his deep thinking.</p>

This effort comes in the form of a law under consideration, the Dietary Supplement Safety Act of 2010. It is a law proposed by, of all legislators, John McCain.﻿</p></blockquote>

<p>Meanwhile, here&#8217;s your <em>Buttle&#8217;s World</em> health tip for the day: If a product says &#8220;Supplement&#8221; on it anywhere, don&#8217;t buy it. You don&#8217;t need it, and it may well harm you. Especially if it&#8217;s made in Utah.</p>
