<p>My guess is that it&#8217;s because of my pro-gun stance. Net Nanny is infamous for its hoplophobia.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the wisdom of trusting one&#8217;s children to anything with &#8220;Nanny&#8221; in the name is left as an exercise for the reader.</p>
<p>So is &#8220;nincompoop&#8221; hate speech or merely violent?</p>
