I was looking through one of the historic sites I manage and came across something interesting inside the small closet under the attic staircase. In a few different spots, there was a stamped “T.B. Duvall” several times in a row. I’ve never seen anything like this before so now I’m compelled to do some research to see who this person was and why their name was stamped repeatedly on the back of the stairs. My guess is it was done later but the reason why is still a mystery for now!
