<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:center;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:24px;font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#000000;text-decoration:underline;">THE PURPOSE OF COLOR CONCEALERS</span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">The most important feature of your face is your skin. I don&#8217;t care how pretty you do your eyes or lips, if your skin looks bad, so does your look. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">If there was only one feature I could do in the morning, it would be my skin. It&#8217;s just as important to have both an overall smooth complexion and have a groomed appearance. By this I mean waxing your upper lip (even if you have light hair). This also means tweezing your stray eyebrow hairs, or waxing, or getting it done at the salon. Any of those options work. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">One of my peeves is dark circles under the eyes. So today I&#8217;m going to investigate colored concealers which I have been seeing recently but have no idea how to use. I will let you know what I find. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;color:#000000;">PURPLE</span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">Purple concealer counteracts and brightens sallow skin.  So basically purple cancels out yellow. Mainly used for illness or on olive-toned complexion. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;color:#000000;">GREEN</span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">Green concealer counteract redness for example pimples or irritations. </span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">Use very little and blend the edges well. Top with your foundation or concealer.</span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#000000;">BLUE</span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">Blue concealer can counteract and neutralize orange tones in the skin caused by self-tanners. It can also be used to counteract redness and dark circles as well. If you can&#8217;t find your green or ran out, blue can be used too. If you have dark skin, this shade will also help you to hide dark circles.</span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;color:#000000;">YELLOW</span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">Yellow concealer can warm up the complexion. It </span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">is also a color-corrective concealer that can hide redness from things like acne, blotchy skin, or any blemishes that are pink/red toned. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:normal;"><span style="font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;color:#000000;">ORANGE</span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">Orange concealers include a wide range from bright basketball orange to a subtler peachy hue or anywhere in between. These are used to counteract any blue tones in the skin like hiding </span><span style="font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;color:#808000;">dark circles with a blue undertone or on olive-toned or darker skin. A lighter orange, more like an apricot or peach color, can brighten up your skin and give it a nice glow on darker skin tones or skin with golden undertones. Orange concealers can also counteract age spots, hyper-pigmentation and freckles. Just a small amount can reduce these problems.</span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica';font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;"><span style="color:#000000;">PINK</span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">A light pale pink concealer can be used for dull or grayish skin. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">With these concealers, less is more, really applies. A small amount is all you need, apply to problem area, be sure to blend the edges out to merge with your skin. Use the correct tool (or finger) for the job depending on the size of the coverage area.</span><span style="color:#808000;"> Top with your foundation or concealer. </span></div>
<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;text-align:left;line-height:2;font-family:'Apple Color Emoji';font-size:20px;"><span style="color:#808000;">Let me know what you think! Do you use corrective concealers? If so which colors and do they work for you? </span></div>
