<p><a title="whole library" href="http://www.americanlibrariesmagazine.org/article/whole-library-approach" target="_blank">The Whole Library Approach</a> has some great suggestions to provide staff training in areas other than their assigned ones.  You&#8217;ll also want to see <a title="YALSA whole library" href="http://www.ala.org/yalsa/guidelines/whitepapers/wholelibrary" target="_blank">The Importance of a Whole Library Approach</a>, a YALSA Issue Paper on the topic.</p>
