What do you do?</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re like me, your first inclination might be to curl up and hope to die. And some situations are so unthinkable no one will blame you. But after curling up for a few days, you probably won&#8217;t die, so then what do you do? Don&#8217;t you have to try to pick yourself up and move on? <a title="through fear" href="http://sheehydaringproject.com/story/daring-story-ann-chaney/" target="_blank">The Only Way Out of Fear is Through</a> (from Gail Sheehy&#8217;s Daring Project) really resonated with me. You can use skiing down a mountain in a snowstorm, or whatever other visual that helps you, as a metaphor to help you get through. &#8220;Sometimes life doesn’t afford you the luxury of knowing what to do, but don’t let that stop you.&#8221;</p>
