What a great reminder that failure is just the other side of the coin.

It’s easy to overlook the many failures that successful people have experienced. Without failure, they say, they wouldn’t have achieved their dreams.

Who knew that John Grisham’s book The Firm was rejected by 28 publishers before being accepted by unknown publisher, or that Maya Angelou was mute for nearly five years after a childhood trauma? You have to keep trying, over and over again. Failure can eventually lead to success. As Babe Ruth said, ““Every strike brings me closer to the next home run.”

Words to remember.
