Good libraries need good leaders. While not everyone is cut out to be the “boss,” many people are, and should be looking into library management positions. What does it take to be a good “library boss?” As it turns out, it’s not so different from being a good boss in any field!
In fact, we should all strive for #1 on this list, no matter who we are, or what field we’re in: “Be a decent human being.” (I have to keep working on this one!)
