So this day I was extremely busy-a lot of walking, traveling to and from the subway, and sight seeing in the City.

For me, this light maxi dress from Forever 21 was perfect to be wearing. The city was pretty hot, so I wanted something lightweight that would still be a long dress. The pattern looked great on as well-it was a mix of light pink, blue, burgundy, and white. 

With this maxi dress, I wanted a shoe that would add a little dimension to my look-a pair of taupe lace up booties from Steve Madden. These shoes paired really well with the look, while adding a little heel. I was walking a ton too, and these shoes didn’t bother me throughout the day at all.

This outfit was great for playing the typical “New York City Tourist”, without looking like one of them.
