<p>In <a href="https://commonplacefacts.com/tag/iran/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Iran</a> the word for the white, fluffy stuff that falls from the sky when it is cold is <em>barf. </em>That sounded to native speakers as a great name for a laundry detergent.
