<p>It&#8217;s that time of the year again, but this time, we are celebrating a major milestone for the franchise as the actual anniversary (<strong>September 9th</strong>) approaches from the release date of Crash Bandicoot (PS1) in North America, and people have been misled by several sources on  the <strong>August 31st 1996</strong> release date (even legitimate sources), where it is actually <strong>September 9th, 1996</strong>, where it can be also seen in the launch poster above, thanks to NetYaroze for <a href="http://collectorsedition.org/forums/showthread.php?t=13749">the collection picture including the poster</a> (<a href="http://crashland.elynx.fr/ressourcebonus/siteofficiel/c1-production.htm">This poster can also be seen on Naughty Dog&#8217;s old Crash Bandicoot website, archived</a>).</p>
