It was revealed yesterday by Renka_schedule on Twitter/wiki that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, dubbed “Crash Bandicoot Racing: Buttobi Nitro!” (クラッシュ・バンディクーレーシング ブッとびニトロ！) for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will be released by SEGA in Japan on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Players in Japan will also be able to get the Electron Skins as a preorder bonus and the PS4 exclusive Retro content (source notes it will be only the Sticker Pack, but we’ll see if its more than that), no word if the Nitros Oxide Edition will also be making it, although I imagine that it will digitally since this edition is not going to be available as a download code in physical releases like with the Pin Bundle for North America and the other one in Europe.

At the moment, it is not possible to preorder the game on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store (but it is listed for both Standard and Nitros Oxide Editions) and Nintendo’s eShop. It is now only a matter of time before SEGA officially confirms the news.
