Today, according to the Eastern Standard Timezone, is the anniversary for Crash of the Titans, the first game to debut on the Nintendo Wii, the first ever to change-up the formula to a beat’em up gameplay style and has the cast’s look redesigned for the new entry. It should be noted that the game was somewhat controversial for the redesigns, change of gameplay style and the comedy.

The game in North America has now reached its 13th anniversary, which was released on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, has a Metacritic score of 70 on the PlayStation 2, 69 on the Wii, 65 on the Xbox 360, 73 on the DS and no score on the PlayStation Portable (IGN gave it a 63).
