Here’s a rough mix of what became Electron Avenue for Crash Nitro Kart. It’s mostly what ended up in the final track, except it’s not mixed in any real way, so it’s very dry and lacks any real energy. I focused mostly on vibe, melody and instrument choices when working on this game. The goal was to not veer too far from what a slightly upgraded soundset from CTR would be, with it’s own character added. I think if I slammed with with some compression it would sound great, but I’m showing off the rough since I think it could also do with some panning and overall fader riding.
