So I bought the Steven Universe picture book The Answer and I have to say that it’s really good. I love the spongey art style with simplistic colors that make the whole book kind of look like it was made with potato stamps… okay that makes it sound bad, but I swear it’s not. I love how no one really has a nose except Pearl and you wouldn’t think anyone would look good without a nose, but Rose Quartz really pulls it off. The artist gives cotton candy Garnet a slightly different look so that she’s a little less pastel and more like normal Garnet. I’m a little on the fence about the change but it’s not bad, just different. Check out the book on Amazon. There’s a little preview so you can see the art for yourself.
