You might think this would make a cool bookmark, and it totally would, but make sure to use 28 count aida then. It will end up being about 9.5 x 2 inches. which is good for hardcover books. You may have to cut off a few brooms if you read mostly smaller paperbacks. The fun thing about this pattern is that you can just repeat it over and over until your line of brooms circles around the hem of a skirt. Man, now I really want a skirt with my Silly Walks pattern around it.
