Black Rose, not to be confused with Black Lotus. I played .hack//Infection and Mutation as a kid, but even though I bought Outbreak, I never played it. I think it was just too long for me, and there seemed to be no difference in gameplay from one game to the next. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed Infection, but I wasn’t invested enough in the story to merit sinking time into the other titles. Someday, I might go back and play them again, because I still have them. Maybe now that I’m older I can appreciate the story more. I remember liking the manga and watching .hack//Sign too, though I think my brother has those.
