This is a good example of me doctoring sprites. If you look at the sprite sheet I linked to, you’ll notice that there isn’t a sprite that looks exactly like this one. That’s because I took the top half of one sprite and paired it with the bottom that I thought looked the best. I liked the movement of the robe, but I didn’t want his chakrams to be on fire, and this is the result. I do this for a lot of my sprite based patterns along with editing stray pixels and altering colors. I had problems with this one because DMC apparently thinks that Garnet is the only dark red we need. I ran into this same problem making the pattern for this bloody skull. There just aren’t enough dark colors.
