Utena was my first real cosplay. I bought a black jacket at Goodwill and carved the epaulettes out of a Nerf football cut in half. Frankly, it was super lame, but I made it myself and I was so proud of it. I’m not sure what happened to it though. I think I might have lent it to a friend then never got it back. Oh well.

The source image I used didn’t have a lot of colors so I wasn’t quite sure about the gold orange background. I think it gives the piece some warmth, but feel free to leave it blank on your project.
