When Ninetales got an Alolan form, I was certain that Arcanine would get one too since they were version exclusives together in Gold and Silver, but Alolan Arcanine never happened. Oh well.

In other news, I got to watch Heavy Object yesterday. I can’t recommend it though. I think the biggest problem was that it tried to be a serious future tech political war anime and a silly over the top fan service spy anime at the same time. There’s a huge disconnect when a character is trying to be serious, but you just saw them naked. I think the show is strongest when the main characters are concocting ridiculous schemes to take down giant robots with copious amounts of C4. These scenes aren’t realistic at all so they meld well with the gratuitous fan service, but honestly, it’s not really worth it.
