On an unrelated note, I’ve been working at a laboratory for a few months now and it’s lead to some weird conversations. Recently a had a case of the sniffles at work and I didn’t know where I could get a box of tissues so I asked a coworker “Do you know where I can find tissues?” He turned towards the walk-in freezer and said “Sure, what species?”

“No, I mean the other kind…”

“Oh, you mean ‘tree’, then.”

Apparently I need to be careful about how I word things.
