Ranma 1/2 was one of my first anime, but it didn’t leave the same impact as Inuyasha and Sailor Moon. It wasn’t as easy to get a hold of since it didn’t run on TV in my area and this was way before streaming. Honestly, in the early days, I had to torrent a lot of my anime. I even remember downloading poor quality videos with barely legible fan translated subtitles off of fan sites. One download was so bad that I could fit the whole of Sailor Moon Stars on one CD-R.
