I’m a big Studio Trigger fan, but I’m not sure about Darling in the Franxx. The overt sexuality of Kill La Kill gave the series a lighter tone. I feel like Franxx is taking itself a little too seriously for my tastes. I haven’t finished it, but I think my time would be better spent watching Gurren Lagann for the first time or rewatching Evangelion.
