So it’s hard to pick colors for this one, because the entire time Catra wears this outfit, she’s set in mood lighting. I tried using the colors from the episode, but then her skin looked weird, so I compromised and used her daylight colors while keeping the purple suit, and I think it turned out great. She really needs to wear non-uniform clothes more often.

Speaking of which, why does Adora still wear her Horde uniform?

I really like She-Ra. I mean, it has its flaws, but for the most part it’s a fun romp with moments of genuine drama and good characterization. I like the humor and the pacing. The animation is fluid and everyone is on model. The show’s real weakness is in it’s world building. most of the places they go feel empty and you don’t get a sense that Adora is saving the world or swaying the thoughts of the people because the unnamed background characters are so bland. She-Ra is a good candidate for the three episode rule. If you aren’t interested after three episodes, you’re not going to like it.
