<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Armando Valente</strong> took part in the restructuring process of Citemor &#8211; Montemor-o-Velho Theatre Festival. In 1992, he became a member of the festival&#8217;s board of directors, responsible for programming, production, and communication.&nbsp;He geared the eldest theatre festival in the country to a more experimental platform for the performing arts, presenting for the first time artists like&nbsp;Angélica Liddell, TG Stan and Rodrigo Garcia as well as emerging Portuguese companies like Teatro do Vestido ou Mala Voadora.</span></p>

For Emilia Romagna Teatro (ERT) Fondazione, he directed&nbsp;</span><span lang="en-US"><i>Il Ratto d’Europa</i></span><span lang="en-US">,&nbsp;</span><span lang="en-US"><i>per una Archeologia dei saperi comunitari</i></span><span lang="en-US">&nbsp;(Modena, 2013 – Roma, 2014), amongst others. Since January 2017, he is the director of the Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione, one of the seven national theatres in Italy. The theatre is founding member and partner in Prospero network as well as project leader of&nbsp;</span><span lang="en-US">“Atlas of Transitions”,</span><span style="color:#212121;"><span lang="en-US">&nbsp;promoting intercultural exchange between European citizens and newcomers.</span></span></span></p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Francisco Frazão</strong> is artistic director of Teatro do Bairro Alto, a Lisbon city theatre devoted to experimental, emerging and international work. From 2004 to 2017 he was theatre programmer at arts centre Culturgest, which during that time presented work by Elevator Repair Service, Forced Entertainment, Lola Arias, Philippe Quesne, Deborah Pearson, tg STAN and Tim Crouch, among many others, while co-producing local theatre-makers like Tiago Rodrigues, Cão Solteiro, Teatro Praga, Mala Voadora and Mónica Calle.&nbsp;Francisco has worked as translator (namely for theatre company Artistas Unidos) and has written and taught classes and seminars on theatre, film and literature.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Nuno Cardoso</strong> is an actor, director and was the artistic director of the company Ao Cabo Teatro&nbsp;(Oporto) between 2007 and 2018. From 2003 to 2007, he was curator for&nbsp;Teatro Carlos Alberto (Oporto).&nbsp;In January 2018, he was appointed artistic director of Teatro Nacional São João (Oporto).&nbsp;This theatre opened in May 1798 as the first venue to present exclusively public performances in the city. It was bought by the Portuguese state in October 1992 and re-opened, one month later, under the official designation of São João National Theatre. It is a member of&nbsp;Union des Théâtres de l’Europe&nbsp;(UTE).&nbsp;</span></p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Paula Garcia</strong> has been&nbsp;working&nbsp;since 1999 as a performing arts curator for Teatro Viriato (Viseu, Portugal). She is the theatre&#8217;s Executive and Programing Director since 2016.&nbsp;The venue opened to the public at the end of the 19th century, but was shut down in 1960. After several rehabilitation attempts, the theatre re-opened in&nbsp;1998 with the resident dance company Paulo Ribeiro, who also created a performing arts school.</span></p>
