It’s the first time, or one of the few times, that I’ve been able to put together concepts of Buddhist humanist spirituality with ecological models. It gave me the idea that perhaps it’s time to combine the two blogs I run, “The Harbinger”, which is about ecology in Atlantic Canada, and green politics in general, and “Engage,” Buddhism as a humanist spirituality. The Harbinger has outlived it’s usefulness to me because I am going to be moving out of Atlantic Canada over the next 6 months (sadly) and back to Massachusetts. So I will not be as close to ecology issues in Atlantic Canada; however, I am still deeply involved in green politics and social justice. The question now is, what do I call the combined blog? Engage? The Harbinger? Emerge? A different name altogether? This will take some thought. I welcome your suggestions.
